PERSONAL HISTORY
I was born and raised in Arusha Town 3500ft above sea level.  My parents came from the Coastal region-Tanga, they transferred to Arusha for work.  My tribe is Zigua the biggest in the region.  I still live in Arusha with my wife and three children about 5km from the city.

I completed Secondary education in the city and joined the Pharmaceutical Industries where I worked for three years as a production assistant.

I am currently working with African Environments as a driver guide, guiding throughout all the Tanzanian National Parks including game controlled areas and game reserves, as well as this I have been involved in many film productions.

I chose to become involved in tourism because I love the job and want to show clients the beauty of my country, culture and its people.

I speak fluently Swahili as a National Language, Zigua my tribal language, English and little French.

SKILLS & TRAINING
I hold a current Wilderness First Responder (Aerie Emergency Medicine) certificate- designed to train participants to respond to emergencies in remote settings and to make critical medical and evacuation decisions while in these locations.

I have extensive filming experience including the BBC Halcyon – A month long project filming Hyena in the Serengeti, National Geographic filming the life style of the Hadzabe Bushmen of Lake Eyasi, and also with BBC Comic Relief in Central Tanzania on Malaria, Comic Relief is an official charity based in UK. The film received high praise in the UK.
